What Pappal is
Pappal is a social conversation platform built around respectful one-to-one interaction. Members discover reviewed listener profiles, choose a language, and connect through text, voice, or video.
How it works
Sign in, choose a display name, browse by language and availability, then start a text, voice, or video conversation.
Apply from inside the app, write a short introduction, choose the languages you speak, and agree to the community standards. Applications are reviewed before profiles appear.
Every conversation has block and report controls. Sexual content, harassment, bullying, hate speech, and attempts to move conversations off-platform are prohibited.

Where your data lives
Supabase (PostgreSQL) for the database, Google Firebase for notifications, Sentry for crash reports. Crash reports are scrubbed of message contents before they leave the device. The full detail is on the privacy page.
